Built around the rhythm of reaction & conversation.
Yada Yada is a non-fiction YouTube channel launched in 2019, created around conversations, reactions and the everyday curiosities that connect people across generations. We developed the name from the familiar rhythm of endless conversation: one thought leading to another, and another. The identity needed to feel equally spontaneous and expressive while leaving space for the people and stories at the centre of the channel.
The Approach
Human reactions were the most interesting part of Yada Yada. Surprise, disagreement, amusement, awkwardness and curiosity often said as much as the conversations themselves. Rather than create a visual language that competed with these moments, we looked for a system that could respond to them by amplifying emotion without overpowering the content.
The Solve
We created a simple typographic logo supported by a colour-led visual language that shifts with the reactions and moods within the content. Colour becomes an expressive layer around real people and conversations, highlighting moments of humour, surprise and opinion while allowing the human response to remain the hero. The result is an identity designed to feel conversational, unfiltered and constantly in motion, much like Yada Yada itself.
